History
Pre History
Humans have been occupying the Islands for nearly 5000 years after crossing the Cusian Sea from X Continent. The initial colonization of the islands happened at a slow pace. During the first 1000 years of know inhabitance, an estimated only 25,000 people lived on the Islands. Several spearheads and other artifacts date as far back as 3100 B.C. Contact between people on different islands did not happen on a regular basis. Small tribes formed and even, in the 1000's B.C., several small nations formed the largest being Peryso. Which contained what is today Tessis Islet and Northern Appionen Island. It fell in 800 B.C. to several other small nations. These small tribal wars raged on for nearly 2000 years. The estimated population of the islands around 500 A.D. is only 120,000 people. No more than two Islands were ruled by any one nation during this era, and Few ever controlled an entire Island. The cultures of the time were mostly small fishing villages that relied on fish for food. Even though they were primitive advanced tools such as calendars were in use by these people. By 100 A.D. The first common Languages formed, and communication between different Islands was becoming more normal. But at about 1094 A.D. A new nation formed on Tessis Islet Called Pryorusa. It would be the first Nation to conquer more than two Islands and develop a real culture; Including arts, food, and language.
States Era
By about 1150 A.D. Pryorusa had grown to encompass three Islands. Appionen, Tessis, and Maxel Islands were first all included under the rule of One leader. several population centers formed during this time. The capital of Pryorusa was then called Corta; which is today Corinth. In 1300 A.D. the first know census report in the Islands marked Corta as having 15,000 people near it. Other population centers include Peldilos (Port Seldilos), and Cuppor (Copperstown). During the 1350's an official army formed. At this time it contained over 20,000 men that caused the Empire continued to grow with little resistance. Until it had encountered the Empire of Strahilocuse. Strahilocuse was the norther Empire of the Islands that formed some 100 years before Pryorusa. The two empires would engage in a 150 year war that caused the death of an estimated 30,000 people. At this time the population is though to be around 750,000. After the war ended in a stalemate in the 1500's the two empires joined together in an alliance. During this time Pryorusa had a large population boom increasing the population from about 1 Million to nearly 2.5 Million over a short amount of time. Also during this time Pryorusa enter a golden age where currency, and education first appeared on a large scale. Also the first sings of large scale agriculture of citrus fruits was mastered. In the 1600's though, the empires split and Strahilocuse fell. Smaller states re-emerged to clam the islands. But, the 1700's Imperial powers from the north swept down and would easily destroy much of the small states. Despite this, Pryorusa existed in some form until the late 1700's.
Imperial Era
The first northern explores found the islands of Prycuse is the 1850's, but it was not until 1886 that the islands were directly ruled by any of the northern empires. In 1886 The Imperial Republic of Greston began colonization of the Islands. The Grestonians quickly took over much of the islands with out much conflict to begin with. By 1890 Greston held 90% of the islands. Greston began using the islands as a source of nickel, iron, and sliver. Also the islands were used as a "refueling" point along the trade routes that passed though the islands. Maintaining a content population was a tall order. The fist rebellions stated in 1901. During the 1900's Many immigrants from he north settled in what is today Strycuse. Although the northern occupation helped the standard of living in the islands, they were far from the technology level of the northern empires. By the 1910's it stated to get harder to control the islanders. Also on top of that the islands were starting to cost more to sustain than Greston got in income from the islands. So starting in 1918 Greston began to pull out of the islands, and by 1919 the last Grestonian soldiers and officials left the Prycuseian Islands.
Indous Era
After 1919 the Islands went into a time of turmoil. The poor, uneducated population of 100 Million people were left on Islands that were degrading on every level. Electrical power had never been introduced, along with automobiles, and airplanes. The population of the Cusian Islands were with out hope until an offer from the Indous Empire in 1942. The Islands were to give up their sovereignty for the help economically and politically. The Islands of Prycuse were called at that time The Imperial State of Pryorusa. During the first decade the situation of the Islands improved drastically. Crime went down along with poverty. Jobs were created and technologically the islands were caught up. Heath care improved which caused another population boom increasing the population to 150 Million. That all changed in 1961, when the Empire came down on the islands with an Iron Fist. Many able bodied men were conscripted into the millitary. Women and children were forced to work in factories and labor camps. This way of life continued on with no resistance because of the martial law imposed on the islands, until 1986 when a group of revolts led by Steven Allen, and his son William sparked a movement on all of the islands for independence. For 4 long years the movement went from small riots to an all out war. On December 5, 1990 the Independent Republic of Prycuse was formed. The republic was not independent for long. In 1992 another war broke out between Prycuse and the Indous Empire, because of a lack of recognition for Prycuse. Finally on April 14, 1993 the Indous Empire acknowledged Prycuse's second declaration of Independence which formed The Federation of Prycuse.
Federation Era
Even after becoming independent, Prycuse was a long way from being a stable nation. Only 7 Islands joined the Federation out of the 22 main Islands that made up the Prycuse Islands. Over the next year that number increased to 12. At this time Prycuse was economically in terrible shape. Upon independence, Prycuse created a new currency called the Neuron. over the next few years Prycuse failed to find a stable economy. Politically though, Prycuse was very stable, with a multi-party system, and a working democracy. In 1999 Prycuse reached an age commonly referred to as the Prycuseian Modernization. From 1999 to 2003 Prycuse expanded in almost all aspects of a country. It had expanded to 16 Islands now and a population of 175 Million people. The economy was improving and the value of the Neuron shot up. But Politically now Prycuse was growing in two. The nation was split between the Right sided Federalists, and Republicans and the Left sided Liberalists. Tensions grew until the election of 2003. When the Liberalists lost the election they set up a provisional government and the Prycuse Revolution began. The civil war lasted until April 4, 2004 when the Liberlists surrendered at Keilas. The end of the war brought an economic back lash called the Little Depression, lasting from Late 2004 to early 2006. Emerging from the Little Depression was a new Prycuse that was economically thriving, and territorially expanding. Prycuse gained Possession of Sirpece Island on November 27, 2006. And in early 2007 Bought the Barrious Islands for 32 Billion Neurons, and acquired the Dordlem Islands by petition. Also in 2008 Prycuse acquired Prycuse Hispana, Argire Islands, Ceripel Island, Caledonia, and Tygona Island. In 2009 Prycuse Acquired Palace Island, Mission Island, and Luther Island. In late 2008 Prycuse issued the Government/Economic Act of 2008 that revised much of the constitution. Despite this update the government was not efficient enough. So On August 15, 2009 Prycuse successfully adopted its Fourth Constitution. But when the states were asked to accept the new constitution, they refused, thus the plan failed and was dropped on September 12. On September 26, 2009, Prycuse sold the territories of Prycuse Hispana to The Republican Coalition of Ascelonia for ((price)).
Government
The current government of Prycuse is a multi-party, Federal Republic. It is divided in to 5 main branches: Legislative (Often called the House), Presidential, Judicial, Chancellery and Departmental (Often called the Council) branches. Each have different powers, but all branches are involved in using the powers. Prycuse does use a strict system of checks and balances for all powers. The government is made up of several political parties. Six parties and an independent class run for many major elections, while 10 or more run in minor elections. The right to vote is one of the most important things to a Prycuseian. Though Prycuse is officially a federation, the state or territory governments have very little power and anything lower than a state has no power in the central government. Prycuse's government offers many freedoms to people, weather it be economic, social, or political.
Structure
The central government is divided in to 5 main branches, with many sub and minor branches. Each having their own specific duties in the law making/enforcing process. Below gives a brief description of each of the five branches.
Departmental:
The Departmental consists of a Body, a Council, and a Senior Councilor. The Body consists of five minor departments: Departments of publishing, communication, environment, territories, and coinage, and eleven major branches: Departments of defense, relations, public systems, transportation, education, wildlife, administration, natural resources, commerce, agriculture, and health. The council consists of 11 representatives from each department, who's purpose is to set laws. Setting laws in Prycuse is much like creating a law. Once a law is set the one Senior Councilor can pass it to the Legislative branch or deny it and send it back to the council. If the same law is set again by 7/11 of the council it will by pass the Senior Councilor.
Legislative:
The Legislative branch or commonly called the house is a single chambered Legislative system that creates setted laws. 350 seats make up the house with representatives from all districts. After a law is set in the departmental branch it is passed to the Legislative branch where it is officially created as a bill, whereas before it was a set document. If 3/4 of the house pass the set document it goes to the president or to the chancellor with a bypass. If the set document does not pass with 3/4 votes by the house, it goes back to the departmental branch where it can be modified and re-passed to the house.
Presidential:
The presidential branch consist of the President, the cabinet, and ministries. The cabinet, and ministries are not in the law making process but have certain powers outside the law miking process. The cabinet consists of the head of resources, head of the treasury, head of health, and head of the state. Also the Minster of International Commerce, and the Minister of Foreign Relations are housed under the Presidential branch. The President himself is a part of the law making process. He can veto a bill passed by the House, or he can pass it to the Chancellor. If the Chancellor bypasses the President, he still has the chance to veto the bill if the chancellor passes it.
Chancellery:
The Chancellery branch consists of the Chancellor, his staff, and their agencies. The Cheif's of staff and the agencies are not involved in the law making process. The staff consists of the Chief of Staff of the Interior and the Chief of Staff of the Exterior. Under the staff is Records Agency of Prycuse, Resources Agency of Prycuse, Space and Exploration Agency of Prycuse, Investigation Agency of Prycuse, Immigration Agency of Prycuse. The Chancellor has the ability to bypass the President and pass the bill or veto it. If the chancellor does not use the bypass he can still pass it or veto it back to the House.
Judicial:
The Judicial branch is the last branch in the law making process, that consists of 5 High Court judges and several lower federal courts, and the Attorney General. The Attorney General is not part of the law making process but is only responsible for criminal prosecution. After the bill is passed from either the President or the Chancellor it goes to the High Court to be finally If made into a law. If 3 out of 5 judges pass the bill, it is made into a law. If the judges vote against the bill it is sent back to the Departmental branch as a set document.
Agencies and Ministries
Below the five main branches of the Government, Prycuse contains several sub-branches and minor-branches mainly called Agencies and Ministries. There are two ministries in the government of Prycuse: The Minister of Commerce and The Minister of Foreign Relations. The Minister of Commerce mainly deals with international trade deals, and trade routs. The Minister of Foreign Relations manages Prycuse's foreign embassies and conducts many diplomatic activities. Agencies are completely different. There are six agencies in the government: Records Agency of Prycuse, Resources Agency of Prycuse, Space and Exploration Agency of Prycuse, Investigation Agency of Prycuse, Immigration Agency of Prycuse. The six agencies are split into 2 groups of three either under The Chief of Staff of the Interior or The Chief of Staff of the Exterior, both of which are in the chancellor's staff. The Records Agency of Prycuse deals with census information and keeping records of all major statistics. The Resources Agency of Prycuse regulates and enforces the quotas of different industries, and manges the transportation of all government owned resources besides those being moved on the Naval Merchant Fleet. The Space and Exploration Agency of Prycuse (Formerly the Space Organization of Prycuse) is the section of the government that deals with Space flight and Exploration. Investigation Agency of Prycuse deals with all of the federal cases of people who break federal law, and can take over the Investigation of a state or municipality case. Immigration Agency of Prycuse regulates the flow of immigration and emigration of Prycuse.
Political Parties
Prycuse uses a multi-party system, where there are more than two major parties competing from high ranking positions. In Prycuse there are six major parties and an Independent "party". These parties are: Federalists, Republicans, Economists, Universalists, Expansionists, Loyalists and the Independents. The Federalists have always been in control of Prycuse's government. The Economists and Republicans have held many high ranking positions. The Universalists have gained much support in the past few years along with the Loyalists. The Expansionists are a newer party that are beginning to gain support. Independents rarely win any seats outside of the House elections. Before July 17, 2009 Prycuse had a Democratic Party that lost too much support to stay in the running and are officially no longer a party. Almost all of Prycuse's political parties are middle-right to far right on the political scale. Besides the six major parties, Prycuse also has several small parties that run in state and municipality elections. There are many, but some include the Environmentalists, Socialists, Democratic, and Imperial parties.
Political Divisions
Prycuse, at the highest level, is divided into eight states, four territories, nine federal administered states and areas, and one unincorporated territory. Only the federal administered states and areas so not have representatives in the government. States are, at current, the most autonomous stage a division can archive. States have their own governments, along with law making processes. Territories have a small administrative government that does not have a law making process, but can request the federal government to create news for their territory. In federal administered states and areas the central government of Prycuse acts as the administrative government over the areas. Unincorporated territories are newly admitted areas to the Federation that when after one month will become a territory.

It is some what under advanced compared to the rest of the armed forces. all planes and personnel are stationed at 54 air bases. Formed in January 2008, it is the newest major branch in the armed forces of Prycuse.
Defensive
The Prycuseian Defensive Corps is the primary land defensive branch of the Armed Forces of Prycuse. It is purely a defensive branch and never goes beyond the boarders of Prycuse. It was at first a minor branch of the Army formed in 2005 after the Prycuseian Revolution, but it soon out grew the classification of minor branch, and today it has a total force of 2.20 Million soldiers and personnel. Only 850,000 soldiers and personnel are active during peace time. Its troops are all stationed in one of the thirty-four defensive stations around the country. Most of these stations are small in size in comparison with other bases. Also it is the only other branch, besides missile control, that has control of land based missiles. The Defensive Corps has numerous SAM Sites and silos around Prycuse.
Guard
The Prycuseian Internal Guard or sometimes just The Guard is the primary civilian protection and law enforcement branch of the Armed Forces of Prycuse. Formed a year after independence, it is the second newest branch. The Internal Guard is the police, guards, riot control, and even a defensive force of Prycuse. It is the smallest branch in terms of number of personnel, but the largest in terms of number of bases, or in this case Guard Stations. 4,785 of them are scattered across the cities and towns and some in the jungles of Prycuse. It was, for a long time, the largest branch until the Defensive Corps was formed in 2025. Then the Internal Guard was no longer the primary defensive force. Today It has 500,000 total enlisted, but only 100,000-75,000 personnel are active during peace time.

The Coast Guard is mainly a search and rescue force, but also watches the seas for illegal immigrants and substances attempting to reach Prycuse. The Coast guard of Prycuse works closely with the navy, but will only operate 50 miles or less form the sores of Prycuseian land. Another minor branch is the Government Guard. Their sole purpose is to defend important members of the Prycuseian Government or other important people working with the government. Some 3,000 members defend the VIP's of the Prycuseian government. Its main focus is handling Chemicals and dealing with Chemical warfare, and clean-up. This branch has never been activated.
Geography
The main Islands of Prycuse are a part of the the Cusian Island Chain, an archipelago in the Southeast edge of the region of Tyrrhenia to the west of Continent X. The islands lay at the meeting point of the Cusian Sea and the Adratican Ocean. The sub island chain division of the Prycuseian Islands consist of 20 large islands and 7 smaller islets and atolls. The islands are or at one time were volcanic islands formed by volcanoes produced by the Edgar-Yalls Ridge. The islands' elevation go from sea level to 8,000 Ft.
The highest point is Mt. Harizus on Appionen which is actually an extinct volcano. Lush rain forests cover 45% of the Islands. In the early 1990's the forests covered almost 75%, but because of the huge population boom in recent years, the deforestation rate has skyrocketed. Today the Deforestation rate has been cut back considerably. In the census of 2009 the rate totaled 2.37%. Because of all the rain forest cover, there is very little space left for farming. only 16,000 km² of land is used as farming thus Prycuse has to import most of its food. In all the Islands of Prycuse consist of approximately 319,500 km²; with Appionen Island taking up 135,000 km². The Island Chain contains no active rivers, but several streams from on the larger islands during the rainy season. The climate throughout most of the islands is tropical, the only exception is that of the few active volcanoes. Cliffs line several shores of the islands most notably the southwestern side of Appionen Island where the cliffs can reach 150 feet high. Several natural bays and harbors line the islands. These include: Bay of Corinth, Bay of Dublie, Seldilos Bay, and Maridth Harbor. Rich stores of nickel, iron, sliver, tungsten, and aluminum are present on many of the islands' volcano deposits. Also smaller amounts of gold, phosphate, tin, copper, lead and platinum exist on certain islands. Being located some 1000 km form Continent X, the islands developed their own ecosystem with many unique birds and insects. Biodiversity varies greatly in the islands and with the many wildlife reserves, the ecosystem is well protected.
Weather
The weather in Prycuse is somewhat typical in tropical island nations. Prycuse has two distinct seasons: A Wet season and a mildly Dry season. During the wet season Prycuseians on all islands can expect at least 1-3 inches of rain a day from July to November. Also during this time Prycuse experiences hurricanes, and tropical depressions. Tropical lows blow off the coats of X Continent, then from in to tropical depressions, tropical storms, or even tropical cyclones (hurricanes) over the warm waters of the Cusian Sea. Prycuse can expect 5-7 tropical cyclones a year. Also during the wet season average temperatures can reach as low as 45°F (7°C) and as high as 90°F (32°C). During the Dry season Prycuse rarely experiences tropical storms. From December to June rain is not so common, but a Prycuseian can expect several inches a month. Temperatures have gone as high as 105°F (40.5°C), but usually stays in the mid 90°F's. Lows reach on average 75°F (24°C). Prycuse is also prone to Adgze Waves as they are locally called, but elsewhere they are called tsunamis. A major Adgze Wave strikes every 5-8 years, which usually results on billions of Neurons in damages. From December to February Prycuse usually experiences several cold spells dropping the night temperature to as low as 40°F (4°C) and the lowest recorded temperature in Prycuse was on January 5, 1983 when the temperature hit 36°F (2°C). The yearly rain average totals from 3500mm (138 in.) to 5000mm (197 in.) in most places, but on the leeward or eastern side of Appionen Island rain fall can be as low as 200mm (8 in.) a year.

Prycuse has a capitalist mixed economy, which is fueled by a few abundant natural resources, a well-developed infrastructure, and high productivity. Prycuse has a GDP of $71.3 trillion. The country ranks above average in GDP in the region of Tyrrhenia. The market freedom, and stability allows people to buy and sell many things all around the world. Along with the stable economy, buyer confidence is very high. After gaining Independence in 1993 Prycuse's economy was in shambles. In the late 1990's, under the leadership of Aaron Celveal, the economy greatly improved, but continued to experience times of recessions. By 2003 the economy had undone itself leading up to the revolution. After the revolution the Little Depression hit Prycuse from 2004 to 2006. In the aftermath of the Little Depression, the economy took off. Today the economy of Prycuse is one of the leading economies in the region.
Prycuse has access to many exotic natural recourses because of its location in the southwest Adratican Ocean, but some common resources are hard to come by and Prycuse has to import them. Importing is mostly food and fossil fuels (and fossil fuel based products) which cause large strains on the economy when the cost for these imports goes too high. Because of the little amount of farm-able space, Prycuse is forced to import about 55%-60% of its food need annually. Also 35%-60% of its fossil fuel needs as well. Plastic is another major import for Prycuse that has to import 30%-40% annually. Prycuse has a few dominating industries that generate large amount of income. The biggest industries are Glass making, Gun Manufacturing, Industrial Sand production, Uranium Mining industries, and shipbuilding. Many of these industries are the primary export products of Prycuse. Prycuse also has a very low Unemployment Rate at 2.27%.
Free trade plays a big role in Prycuse's economy. It has many trade partners, almost all of which are free trade. In the past Prycuse has been in several trade organizations, but at current Prycuse is not a member of any trade organizations. Prycuse does lay on a few major shipping routes that go to and from the South Mediterranican Ocean nations. The large amount of exotic natural recourses allows Prycuse to export for a large profit, but the need for commodities often costs more than the exports do. In 2008 Prycuse had a trade deficit 154 Billion, but now in 2009 Prycuse has a projected deficit of over 1 Trillion. Several actions have been taken to rebalanced the trade deficit, but none have yet to work. Food, Oil and Oil-based products, and Steel alone cause the off set of the all largest exports.
Currency
The Prycuseian Neuron is the current, official, and only legal currency of Prycuse. The Neuron originated in 1972 during the rule of the Indous Empire over the Cusian Islands. But from 1972 to 1992 the current was illegal and only used in the black market and in personal trades. Actually the Neuron at this time was not much of a currency but a standard series of simple notes. The name stuck when the Independent Republic of Prycuse was formed in 1992. But the currency was very weak, only about 1/5 the value of a USD. After the second part of the War of Independence the modern Neuron was formed. it's value has fluctuated much over the last 17 years. At its lowest point it was only equal to .234 of a USD in the mists of the Little Depression, and At its highest point in late 2007 when it was equal to 1.646 USD. The denominations of the Neuron are: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 35, 50, 75, 100, 200, 250, and 500. Denominations 250 and 500 are not very common in actual use in the economy, but are more used for banking. The Neuron uses the symbol "ℕ", or rarely the symbol "$N". Up until august 2009 the 22.5 Neurons made up a Nailon, but its production ceased in 2008 and it was no longer legal tender in 2009. The Neuron is also devided up into 100 divisions called newts. Newts use the symbol "Љ" or rarely "$NB". The denominations of the Newt are .5, .10, .25, .50, and .75. The .75Љ is out of production but is still used as legal tender. Today the Neuron is worth 1.643 UDS, making it at its second strongest point in its history.

Culture
The culture of Prycuse differs much from island to island, and is considered to be a multi-cultural country. On the more populated islands, such as Appionen Island and Appeos Island, the way of life is much more compact, and fast paced. On the lesser populated islands, their is a more relaxed style of life. Culture of Prycuse is mostly sectioned into three groups: Prycusian, Strycusian/Cusian, and Northern Continentists. Smaller groups of Portenns, Hispanase, and East Islanders cultures' are scattered throughout the islands. Over the last few decades the traditional cultures of the Cusians and others have much declined for the much more modern cultures and life styles. Besides the differences among the different ethnic groups, differences in lifestyles through race, sexual preference, and income class create wide gaps of freedom amongst people.
Discrimination
Even through by law Prycuse is a very socially free country, the people inside the country decline the social levels of others, primarily by race. Racism is a big problem in Prycuse with the Prycusians, Strycusians, and Northern Continentists leading in the social ladder. Followed by Cusians, Hispanase, and East Islanders as being mostly who are considered not discriminated against. But Portenns, and x are at the bottom of the social ladder, and are widely discriminated against. Both of the races of people are rarely allowed in the county for their own good because of the violent attacks by the higher social races on them. The government has tried in the past to stop racial violence, but has failed to do any impact. Racial crime is the largest crime activity in Prycuse, with over 50% of all crime having a motive of racial issues. Because of this harsh treatment Portenns, and x traditionally do not immigrate to Prycuse, and they only account of a combined total of less than .5% of the population. Another factor in being accepted in Prycuse is sexual preference, specifically gay men. Their freedom is cut the most, by the populace, and by the government as well. It is by law illegal to be openly gay in Prycuse, gay marriage is illegal, and immigration of gays is prohibited. No matter the race, the entire population of Prycuse discriminates gays. Though it is illegal to be openly gay the only penalty is loss of most government and corporate benefits, as well as a higher tax rate, raising from 8% to between 15%-20%, and not being able to serve in the military. Otherwise they are free to go about a regular life.
Recreation
In Prycuse much of the population, young and old, send their fee time playing games or sports. Amongst the general population of adults, Baseball and softball are the top played sports in Prycuse. But professionally Basketball is by far the most popular spectator sport. Followed closely by (American) Football, Baseball, and even Hockey. (Soccer) football is the least viewed sport and Prycuse does not have a national Soccer team or even Pro soccer league. But Prycuse boasts one of the most completive college sports system. Football, Basketball, and Baseball are the most popular collegiate sports. Besides these swimming, running, rowing and boating, and cycling are also popular in Prycuse. Other than sports Prycuseians spend much time at the beaches relaxing, swimming, and playing games. Also other popular pastimes are hiking, fishing and different socializing events.
Prycuse has not participated in any super-national sporting events (Ex. Olympics), other than the Pan-Cusian Games. Dispite this Prycuse dose have an official national team in (American) Football, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, Swimming, Rowing/Boating, Track and Field, and Volleyball. Since the start of the Pan-Cusian Games in 1992, Prycuse has won a majority of the games in 13 out of the 17 games that have been held. Prycuse's teams also play in the Prycuseian National Games where the best teams from Prycuse and all her overseas territories compete. this series of Games started in 2006 and now have expanded to one of the most watched televised programs in Prycuse.
Foods
Food in Prycuse ranges widely from Island to Island. But the staple food is primarily ocean fish. Surprisingly Prycuse has a relatively small fishing market for an island chain with an abundance of fish, because of the strict fishing laws. Other primary foods are breads and fruits. Most wheat, and other grains have to be imported due to the small framing space on the islands. Beef, and pork is a more luxury type food with even less space to raise livestock, and a rather high tax on meats. Chicken is another important imported food. In the northern islands fruits such as oranges, lemons, and the unique ohula fruit are very popular; along with ocean fish for dinner and lunch. For breakfast on the northern islands, dried fruit and breads make up most meals. On the western and southern Islands pork, fish, and steamed ocean seaweed are traditional favorites. Dried fruit with salt is the traditional favorite for breakfast. In the larger cities and the central islands more modern foods have taken over. Fast foods and foods from other countries are popular. The large cities are the only places where all common food is available, and in the outer islands and lands food is mostly sold at local markets; selling food from the area.
Arts
The modern art of Prycuse is nothing special by international standards, but the art from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries are considered treasures. Paintings by Samuel Curtis and various works by Patrick Hale are the most famous. Their works are known and sold all around the world. The earliest complex ancient paintings and sculptures date from about 1000 B.C. when the formation of Several small states. Some sculptures though are dated to before 500 A.D. The most popular Prycuseian paintings are of landscapes and nature. Sculptures in ancient times were mostly based on religion and wealth.
Literature is a more internationally respected art form of Prycuse. Earliest known writing date from the 500's B.C. in the early from of Cusian. For many years only the wealthy could afford teaching the language to their children, but by the the formation of Empire of Pryorusa, writing had become more common. The first internationally published book was Of the Islands by Robert Regh, completed in 1893, and it sold an estimated 100,000 copies. In the early 1900's book writing declined due to the pull out of Grestonians. In the 1940's though writing made a come back with the take over of the islands by the Indous Empire. The next big hit was A Golden Opportunity by L.L. Diaz in 1945. In the 1950's two big hits took the shelves around the world. These were The Plague of Liberalism by Dan Benzon in 1951, and Contradiction by Jan L. Call in 1957. The Plague of Liberalism still holds the top selling book originating from Prycuse at an estimated 20 Million copies sold to date. The best selling modern book, 3 Rules of Life by Stan De'Guard in 1997, has sold 2 Million copies world wide.
Prycuse also has a sizable movie producing sector. The first commercial film produced in Prycuse was in 1949, titled: Purple Flower. From the 1950's to the 1970's the Movie industry expanded slowly, but the big hit movie Without a Gun (1972) made the industry take off. But with the onset of the Prycuseian Independence Movement the industry declined in the 1980's. By the the end of the century the Movie industry picked up and rolled out 2250: The Future in 2000; grossing ℕ202,867,124 (USD$ 333,332,547), adjusted for inflation. In 2010 Liberalism is planning a relaunch to generate even more income.
