Tnemrot, officially the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is a nation located in Western Haven. Tnemrot is the 29th largest nation in Haven, as of January 1, 2009. It occupies land in western Haven. Tnemrot is bordered by Kampfers to the north, Bruxella to the northwest, Zukariaa to the west, Prestonia to the southwest, and New Tipperary to the south. To the east, across and within the Bunnia Sea is Shansekia. Unlike many nations in Haven, Tnemrot does not have any colonies abroad and is normally isolationist. However, with the dawn of the 20th century, Tnemration relations with other countries in Haven, aside from its neighbors, has begun to burgeon.
Tnemrot itself dates back to prehistoric times. Its founding is traced back to around 450 B.C. with the first Overlord. Tnemration history begins in Anthem, the original and first capital, along the Worros River, Tnemrot's largest and main river that runs from the southeastern coast all the way to the Leurc Mountains in the west. Tablets traced back to 450 B.C. tell tales mostly considered folklore that involves epic battles with demons, monsters, and invading hordes. Throughout the course of its modern history, Tnemration's have expanded from Anthem outwards in every direction, stretching from the Bunnia Sea in the east all the way to the current western border.
Tnemration history includes a brutal war fought between 1157 and 1215 against the Layartebians. Known as the Dominion of Tnemrot from its founding in 450 B.C. to 1887 A.D., Tnemrot would lose this war and lose its territories in Layarteb, a land dating back to 2000 B.C. and further, almost as old as the Tnemration land. During this time, in the Dark Ages, Tnemration society was ravaged by war both in Layarteb and domestically. It wouldn't be until the early 1500s that Tnemrot entered a peaceful existence, lasting until 1881, when the Great Island War against Shansekia began.
Following a status quo ante bellum agreement at the end of the war, in 1885, Tnemration history included a coup that established Tnemrot as a theocratic republic in 1887 following the end of the coup in 1887. In August 1908, Tnemrot's borders were solidified to its modern day boundaries. Since then, Tnemrot has existed more as an isolationist country rather than anything else with close ties to its neighbors, especially Zukariaa, a pagan nation like Tnemrot, and Doomingsland. Doomani Catholics make up the largest population group outside of Tnemration Pagans.
Established as a theocratic republic, Tnemrot is a modern society. The Tnemration Pagan Rite remains the dominant religion in the country but, like all modern societies, religion is not nearly as important as it was prior to the 20th century. The government is split between a democratically elected, bicameral legislature, and a supreme council, the ultimate decision making body in the country. There is a written constitution and the government, while very moralistic, has, in recent decades, eased its interference in people's private lives. The citizens of Tnemrot the same freedoms of any modern society.

History
Prehistoric
The earliest cave paintings in Tnemrot date back to 20000 B.C. but no evidence or scientific findings support that these people remained in Tnemrot proper. Verifiable Tnemration history begins ca. 2800 B.C. when the first nomadic settlers established what has become Anthem, the capital, largest, and oldest city in Tnemrot. This period was remarkably similar with those of other ancient cultures of this time. Society advanced slowly through its agricultural stage into the Bronze Age and Iron Age before Tnemrot was ever founded. The first writing in Tnemrot dates back to ca. 2500 B.C. and this piece of writing is a brief record of the death of an important figure in Tnemration society.
Founding & Layarteb
After the founding of Tnemrot in ca. 450 B.C., Tnemrot consisted of just 5% of the area it consists of today. Throughout the next 500 years, Tnemration hordes expanded the territory by 250% of its modern size and gained control over what is now the Empire of Layarteb. Layartebian history coincides with Tnemration history through the better part of the first millennium A.D. until October 31, 1157, when the four tribes of Layarteb declared total independence from the Dominion of Tnemrot. This move brought on a revolutionary war that raged until 1215 with the defeat of Tnemrot and its subsequent abandonment of Layartebian land. It wouldn't be until the 1800s that Layartebian and Tnemration politicians would reconcile their differences.
Throughout the better part of the second millennium A.D. and up until the late 1800s, Tnemration society went through two main periods. The first was the longest, stretching from the earliest days of expansion and lasting until the early 1500s. This was a period of war where Tnemration hordes conquered lands to the west, east, north, and south of Anthem. It was during this time of aggressive expansion that Tnemration Pagans first encountered Doomani Catholics. The two groups of people were more than just ideological opposites and conflict ensued between the two groups for nearly 300 years until the early 1500s, when Tnemration society began a period of peace and prosperity. This period is known as the Tnemration Renaissance and it fostered an understanding between the Doomani Catholics of Tnemration Pagans. Thanks largely to this Renaissance, Doomani Catholics represent the largest minority group in Tnemrot.
This era of peace drew to a close in the early 1880s when Tnemrot went to war with the United Combine of Shansekia. Known as the Great Island War, this war is considered a turning point in Tnemration history as well as Shansekian history.
The Great Island War
The Great Island War is tied to Shansekian history very deeply. A sharp rise in Shansekian population caused a significant crisis where Shansekian agricultural capacity peaked and starvation was imminent. It was at this point that Shansekian leaders requested land from the Dominion of Tnemrot for farming purposes but this was denied thanks to an ongoing population explosion in Tnemrot. Overlord Jarvis Harper III, the Supreme Overlord of the Dominion of Tnemrot denied this request citing that it would violate their security and it would put the Tnemration people at serious risk of eventual starvation themselves.
The war began on April 17, 1881 with a Shansekian naval invasion at the Worros River delta in southeastern Tnemrot. The resulting Battle of Aberdeen was a tactical Shansekian victory with an initial Tnemration defeat. However, the defeat was short lived as Tnemration soldiers attacked and massacred the Shansekian camp, forcing a Shansekian retreat to West Sukloi island in the Bunnia Sea. Tnemrot began its own offensive on May 31, and advanced on the island of Sukloi and subsequently devastated the western islands. This campaign was known as the Razing of the Western Isles by contemporary historians. It was a decisive Tnemration victory with Tnemration forces controlling the western islands by February 1882. Tnemration attacks were, initially, very effective but, by February 14, 1882, the effectiveness of Tnemration attacks slumped.
Tnemration forces continued to conquer and push back Shanseki forces throughout 1882 and into early 1883, slowing by April. By May, the war was officially a stalemate. Most of the islands in the Haven Straits, by this time, were conquered by Tnemration forces. Casualties by then were very high for both sides, over 500,000 for Tnemrot and well over 2,500,000 for Shansekia. During 1883 and 1884, Tnemration forces continued to advance but at extremely slow speeds. Tnemration forces were outnumbered in all theaters by Shansekian forces but continued to score victories. It wouldn't be until early 1885 that the stalemate was broken with a major naval engagement in the Bunnia Sea.
In 1885, Tnemration forces closed in on Bunny Island, the headquarters of Shansekia's naval and civilian presence in the Haven Straits. Shansekian civilians pleaded for a peace accord but neither the Tnemration nor Shansekian leaders were willing to negotiate. On March 30, 1885, Shansekian forces attempted to stop the Tnemration advance with a massive naval armada. It resulted in the Battle for the Bunni Sea and subsequently, the Battle of Taiko. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the Tnemration forces obliterated their enemies and successfully landed on Taiko Island. By then, the Shanseki Navy was decimated. On March 31, 1885, the first day of the Battle of Taiko, chemical warfare began.
Throughout the course of 1885, the final year of the war, from March 31 to September, Tnemration forces used Mustard, Chlorine, and Phosgene gas on Shansekian military forces and civilians. The casualties were astronomical and during the Battle of Bunny Island, the use of phosgene gas is credited with over 4,000,000 casualties, both civilian and military. The battle ended in a total Tnemration victory.
On September 13, the Bunnia Accord was signed. It resulted in status quo ante bellum and marks one of the lowest points in Tnemration history. All land gained by Tnemration forces throughout the course of the war was ceded back to Shansekia and on September 14, the war was officially over and the final chapter of the Dominion of Tnemrot was signed.
Military Coup
The Great Island War claimed the lives of 10,000,000 Shansekians and 1,200,000 Tnemrations, wounding an additional 5,800,000 on both sides. It was a brutal war that established the Dominion of Tnemrot as one of the dominant military powers in the Haven Straits. Unfortunately, because of the Bunnia Accord, any strategical gain made by the war, was negated. This lead to a major loss of morale and confidence in the government by both the civilians and the military. On October 18, 1885, Supreme Commander Edward Bunker, the supreme military figure in the Tnemration military, initiated a bloodless coup d'état, deposing Overlord Harper and instituting a militarily run government.
A move that was received well by the Tnemration populace, the military coup originally sought to return the lands of the Great Island War that were captured by the Tnemrations back to Tnemration control but, ultimately, this was not anticipated to be a popular move. Despite the overwhelming superiority of the Tnemration military to that of the Shansekians, the threat of violated the Bunnia Accord could have brought third-party actors into the conflict and could have resulted in casualties not acceptable to Commander Bunker, who gave himself the title of "President" upon assuming control of the government.
Throughout the better part of 1886, the Tnemration populace became uneasy with the idea of total military rule. Conflict broke out west of the Leurc Mountains with the indigenous people living there and Tnemration forces battling them were making few gains, initially. The terrain, largely desert, was not hospitable to the Tnemration forces and indigenous tribal forces were better stocked and supplied. It was, essentially, a war of attrition and Tnemration forces were on the losing side of that war. Additionally, thanks to total rule by the military, Tnemration society became enthralled with tyranny and unrest grew. By the end of 1886, there had been eight full blown riots in Anthem and other major Tnemration cities resulting in the combined death of over 500 Tnemration civilians at the hands of Tnemration soldiers.
On February 14, 1887, President Bunker officially resigned following a horrific revolt in Milde, outside the Castle of Nis. Dating back to the 1400s, the Castle of Nis was the seat of state for the Dominion and subsequently for the military junta. The revolt lasted eight days and saw nearly 1/4 of Milde being burned to the ground and over 1,250 civilian and 200 military deaths. The revolt is considered, by contemporary historians, the darkest day in Tnemration history. Following the resignation of President Bunker, the Dominion of Tnemrot ceased to exist and it became the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot, its government a theocratic republic.
Modern History
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot was established as a theocratic republic. The Supreme Council of Elders, which ruled the Dominion of Tnemrot prior to the military junta, was restored with Supreme Overlord Markus Victor as the leader. An elder aged 72 years, he ruled for 14 years before his death and resided over the country at the turn of the century. Aside from the Supreme Council of Elders, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot established a democratically-elected, bicameral legislature. State affairs were delegated to the Supreme Council and government affairs to the National Assembly. Broken into the Senate, the upper house, and the Chamber of Deputies, the National Assembly formed the backbone of the legislature. The Supreme Council of Elders formed the backbone of the executive and the Council of Overseers, a federal court of elders, the judiciary.
The government was extremely popular upon its establishment and its first order of business was to suspend fighting in the Tnemration Desert. Tnemration culture was not hindered much by this new government and throughout the years, the government became less and less intrusive in the private lives of its citizens. Following the turn of the century and the death of Overlord Victor and the ascension of Overlord Devin Elan, Tnemration forces re-entered the Tnemration Desert and on August 23, 1908, Tnemrot's present-day borders were finally solidified with a victory over indigenous natives in the desert region.
During the 20th century, following the cessation of fighting in the desert region, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot progressed in almost all fields. With the invention of the automobile and airplane in the early 1900s and the development of better, bigger, and more capable ships Tnemration trade flourished throughout the country. Remote regions benefited from trade and flourished just as much as the cities did. Society grew less and less moralistic but old traditions remained in most rural locales while cities grew progressively liberal. In 1970, the government of Tnemrot officially abolished slavery; although, wealthy, traditional, rural families can maintain slaves through certain grandfather clauses in the law. Universal suffrage was granted in 1950 and, in 1992, Tnemrot resumed diplomatic relations with Shansekia.
Administrative Divisions
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is divided into seven states, each one named after its capital. Of the seven provinces, the largest is the southern, which encompasses part of the Tnemration Desert, Leurc Mountains, and Forest of Niap. To the east of the mountains is the Forest of Niap ad the coastal regions.
|
Anthem
Anthem is the capital state and city of Tnemrot. Running through it is the Worros River, the largest river in the country. It is situated in the heart of the Forest of Niap and is the cultural and economic center of the country. Anthem is mostly urban and contains a sizeable portion of the Tnemration population. Anthem is bordered by Nox to the east, Divina to the southeast, Milde to the southwest and west, and Utica to the northwest. Anthem is the seat of government in Tnemrot.
Divina
Divina is one of three coastal states and the middle of the three. Its territory contains several islands to the east of the Tnemration coast, all of which are part of the Sukloi Islands. It is a medium-sized state in terms of populace and it is also the one state not traversed by one of Tnemrot's two main rivers. The majority of its populace live along the coastal areas. Divina is not very urbanized but there are a few cities within its confines, Divina being the biggest; although, it is much smaller than Anthem. Divina borders Hure to the south, Nox to the north, and both Anthem and Milde to the west.
Horza
Horza is the westernmost and least populated of all seven states. It is entirely rural and Horza, the capital, is a small city that holds over 75% of the state's population. The province is entirely located within the Tnemration Desert and, as such, it is the least developed. Horza's populace is nearly 80% "indigenous." Indigenous peoples of Tnemrot are native to the country and are not Tnemration by heritage or ancestry. Horza is also one of two semi-autonomous states, the other being Hure. Horza is bordered by Milde in the east and Utica in the northeast.
Hure
Hure is the second of two semi-autonomous states in Tnemrot. It is located in the southeastern portion of the country and also consists of several islands that are part of the Sokloi Islands. The state is entirely coastal and does not include any of the Forest of Niap. Its populace is nearly 95% Doomani Catholic and its capital, Hure, is its largest city. The state is highly developed and Doomani Catholics make up the largest minority group in Tnemrot. Hure is bordered by Milde to the northwest and Divina to the northeast. The Worros River delta is located in Hure.
Milde
Milde is the largest of the seven states. It borders all states except Nox and contains the largest percentage of the Tnemration populace. Its capital, Milde, is the historical and religious center of the country and it is also the seat of state in Tnemrot. Its terrain consists of the Tnemration Desert to the west and Forest of Niap in the east and also has the Leurc Mountains running through it. To its west is Horza, north is Utica, northeast is Anthem, east is Divina, and southeast is Hure.
Nox
The state of Nox is located in northeastern Tnemrot. It is north of Divina and east of Anthem and Utica. Part of its territory contains several islands that are part of the Shadow Islands group. It is a coastal region like Hure and Divina but more of a combination of the two rather than anything else. It is very similar to Hure except that its western portion is on the edge of the Forest of Niap. Unlike Divina though, it is highly urbanized and highly developed, like Hure. Nox is also the location of the Etah River delta, the second largest river in Tnemrot.
Utica
The state of Utica is the second least developed of all of the states. It is located entirely within the Forest of Niap and it borders Nox to the east, Horza to the southwest, Milde to the south, and Anthem to the southeast. Despite being largely rural and undeveloped, Utica has a large populace and provides the majority of the agricultural produce required by the Tnemration populace. The capital, Utica, is located close to the border of Kampfers to the north.
Culture
Depending on the state the culture of Tnemrot can be quite different. Overall, there are four main and many minor cultures of Tnemrot, two of them with a good amount of commonality and two which are highly unique.
Doomani Catholics
Doomani Catholics make up the largest minority group in Tnemrot. Their culture dates back to the 800s and 900s but it wasn't until the 1300s that their culture began its own development. In the early 800s and into the 900s, Doomani Catholic missionaries landed in what has become the state of Hure and attempted to convert Tnemration pagans to Doomani Catholicism. Initially, their efforts went in vain at first and most missionaries were massacred by the Tnemrations they attempted to convert. Still, missionaries came and by the early 1300s, Doomani Catholicism had begun to take hold, solidifying by the later part of the century. After hundreds of years of slaughter, oppression, and conflict, Doomani Catholics were finally accepted the early 1500s when Tnemrot entered its Renaissance. Doomani Catholics contributed significantly to the Renaissance and fought valiantly in the Great Island War. For their services, when the military junta entered, their state, Hure, was granted some degree of autonomy.
The Doomani Catholic culture is respected by the Tnemration people and their culture is nearly identical to that of their brothers in Doomingsland. They reverently following Doomani Catholicism and revere the Doomani Pope. Thanks to its autonomy, Hure's culture has expanded very much throughout the centuries. Highly faithful, the Doomani Catholics in Tnemrot are also highly educated and very skilled. Unlike other minority groups in Tnemrot, they are considered to be equal to Tnemrations.
Indigenous Peoples
Indigenous peoples of Tnemrot reside in the state of Horza. They are an ancient culture dating back to the earliest days of recorded, Tnemration history and some say beyond. They are believed to be descendents of the first settlers of Tnemrot and their culture is reminiscent of those early days. Their culture is largely agrarian and, by all standards, they are very primitive compared to Tnemration culture. They are polytheistic and are highly tribal. There are hundreds of individual tribes and cultures that are similar in some ways but vastly different in others. Customs, language, and clothing vary significantly between the various tribes but they all emphasize harmony with a spirit world and nature. Polygyny and polygamy are practiced in some tribes and several are both matrilineal and matriarchal. They are not unlike Native Americans in the United States (RL).
Tnemration and indigenous peoples first encountered each other in the 1400s due to Tnemration exploration. However, these encounters were short lived and some sort of animosity was developed between the Tnemration and indigenous peoples. Until Tnemration expansion past the Leurc Mountains following the Great Island War, the indigenous peoples and Tnemration peoples rarely encountered each other, thanks largely to the Renaissance's disinterest with indigenous culture. Following the Tnemration expansion into the Tnemration Desert, the indigenous peoples were subjected to a fierce campaign to conquer them. Despite superior technology and tactics, Tnemration forces were at a huge disadvantage due to their lack of knowledge of the terrain in the Tnemration Desert. Eventually though, in the early 1900s, they were conquered and outposts were set up along the Zukariaan border. To date, the indigenous peoples are looked down upon by Tnemrations and they are considered backwards. They maintain their customs and traditions and they also enjoy semi-autonomy. Their state is highly undeveloped and their priority within Tnemrot is considered very low.
Rural Tnemration Culture
Tnemration culture in the rural regions is very traditional. Tnemrations who live in rural areas are very religious and stick to old traditions and customs more so than their urban counterparts. They are more loyal to the Supreme Council of Elders than to the National Assembly in Anthem. They are highly educated and very loyal to their families and Tnemration history. At one time they were very tribal but they have since moved away from that aspect of historical, Tnemration culture.
Within this grouping are some of the oldest Tnemration families and also some of the wealthiest. Members of the Supreme Council of Elders and Council of Overseers often come from rural Tnemration families while most members of the National Assembly come from urban families. The largest concentration of rural families are in Milde, particularly within its section of the Forest of Niap. Despite slavery being abolished by the Tnemration government, certain loopholes exist that allow some of these rural families to own slaves. However, it is estimated that by 2012, fewer than 1% of wealthy, rural families will continue to own slaves.
Urban Tnemration Culture
Tnemration culture in urban city-centers and suburbs is highly opposite of that in rural regions. Tnemration who live in urban areas are significantly less religious and conservative as their rural counterparts. They are high educated and more loyal to the National Assembly, which is almost entirely made up of urban-born politicians. Their attitudes towards politics, society, and economics are more liberal than those in rural areas but they remain right of center. They are the largest percentage of the Tnemration population and women are treated equally. In rural culture, women are expected to be wives and mothers first and few are career-oriented. Because Tnemrations in urban locales are more progressive than those in rural areas, they are much more modernized. Their nationalism remains fiercely tied to Tnemration history but, unlike their rural counterparts, they are much less loyal to traditional families and tribal heritages.
Other Cultures
Within Tnemrot exist many minor cultures. Amongst them include Zukariaan pagans and Kampferian nationals, who have moved to various regions of Tnemrot thanks to proximity. Additionally, several small, highly traditional, Tnemration cultures exist in remote regions of the Leurc Mountains and Forest of Niap. These particular cultures and groups are looked upon with contempt by most Tnemrations, even those in rural areas, mainly due to their lack of loyalty to Tnemrot. They are more loyal to their tribes and heritages rather than anything higher. They often practice highly controversial religious methods such as human sacrifice and often are the subject of criminal investigations. Though these particular cultures are not illegal, their methods and practices are illegal and many of them are considered outlaws. Unfortunately, do their remote locations and unique knowledge of the terrain, they are not necessarily easy to catch. Aside from these cultures, many others exist within Tnemrot.
Demographics
According to population projections and unofficial records, the population of Tnemrot was 3,150,000,000. Of these individuals, 52.81% are women and 47.19% are men. The distribution of the populace is 26.5% (ages 0 - 16), 53.5% (ages 17 - 64), and 20.0% (ages 65 and above). The average age of males is 35.8 years and the average age of females is 38.9 years, giving a median average of 37.4 years. Tnemrot is seeing an annual growth rate of some 1.48% with an average 26.27 births per 1,000 people and an average 13.57 deaths per 1,000 people. Migration rates are low, mainly because of the Tnemration culture, way of life, and heavy nationalism. Migratory rates are less than 0.50% per 1,000 people. Infant mortality rates for males are 2.78 deaths per 1,000 live births and, for females, it is 1.66 deaths per 1,000 live births. The median average here is 2.22 deaths per 1,000 live birthdays. Life expectancy at birth, for males, is 79.2 years and for females it is 85.9 years, averaging out to 82.6 years, among the highest in the world. On the average, each woman gives birth to 3.82 children. Individuals with HIV/AIDS and venereal diseases is under 0.000001% of the populace due to culture and sex education programs in schools.
Ethnically speaking, the vast majority of the people of Tnemrot are Caucasian. Of the people of Tnemrot, some 92.70% are Caucasian, and of the remaining 7.30%, 4.02% are black, 2.91% are indigenous, 0.20% are Prestonoid, and the remaining 0.17% are classified as "other." Religiously speaking, some 85.47% of the populace belongs to the Tnemration Pagan Rite while 10.63% are Catholic, nearly all of them Doomani Catholic. Indigenous religions make up 2.22% of the populace and agnostics and atheists make up 1.18% and 0.50%, respectively. Literacy rates vary by state but overall, the average literacy rate is 95.5% across the whole country. The lowest is in Horza, listed at 72% and the highest are Anthem, Divina, Hure, and Nox, which are 100% each. Milde is listed as 99.8% and Nox is 96.7%. The HDI of Tnemrot is 0.964.
Economy
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot has a massive and self-sustaining economy. The largest industries include manufacturing, technology, and agriculture. Rich in resources, Tnemrot's economy is mostly dependent on the location of navigable water routes. Along the coast and most of eastern Tnemrot, trade is in heavy abundance. Due to the presence of large, navigable rivers that can support large ocean vessels, heavy trade stretches as far inland as the entire forested regions. There is little trade between regions west of the Leurc Mountains and those east due to lack of readily passable routes.
East of the Leurc Mountains, Tnemrot is more than a first world country. The presence of a near 7,050 km (4,381 mi) coastline has given the Tnemration people a lot of access to the sea. The presence of many, deepwater ports that do not freeze during the winter months means that trade is continuous and year round. Tnemrot, simply because of the nature of its economy exports more goods than it imports and the largest sector of the Tnemration economy is manufacturing and the development of technology. Tourism is a significant industry during the summer months, particularly in southeastern Tnemrot and some areas in the northeastern portion of the country. Agriculture is also a major industry east of the mountains and the Tnemration people can, through various advanced methods, grow enough food to sustain the population without the necessity for foreign sources. This was a method and thinking that has developed throughout the history of Tnemrot, largely due to the tumultuous history that Tnemrot has experienced.
West of the Leurc Mountains, trade is significantly weaker. This is mostly due to the terrain and climate zones that leave most of western Tnemrot sparsely populated. The majority of trade west of the mountains is done with agriculture and handmade goods. There are few factories west of the mountains and those that are located there are an enigma and entirely self-sufficient. They do not contribute to the economy of their regions and their goods are exported to other areas of the country.
Geography & Climate
Tnemrot's climate & geographical zones are as varied as anything else within the country. In the far west is the Tnemration Desert, a semi-arid portion of land that occupies a significant portion of Tnemrot's territory west of the Leurc Mountains. The desert's topography is not flat and is very hilly and rugged and is separated from the mountains by a small plain of grasslands and a major fault. It is believed to have between 1,750 and 2,000 species of plants and its average elevation is between 750 and 2,400 meters (2,461 and 7,874 feet). It is the site of the lowest point in Tnemrot, which is some 42 meters (138 feet) below sea level. The temperature normally approaches 130°F (54°C) in summer months and can go as low as 0°F (-18°C) during winter months. The temperature between day and night can differ by over 60°F (15.6°C). The average precipitation is less than 250mm (10 in) per year and this generally comes in September. The highest peak in the Tnemration Desert is Raven's Peak at 3,806 meters (12,487 feet).
East of the Tnemration Desert between the edge of the desert and the Leurc Mountains is a very small amount of land that is a grassland. It is situation on a narrow plain that extends from the northern border to the southern. Temperatures during the summer can be as high as 40°C (104°F) and as low as -40°C (-40°F) in the winter. These represent extremes and rainfall is usually around 250 - 500 millimeters (9.84 - 19.69 in). The temperature differences between summer and winter are much like those experienced between both day and night. The region is sparsely populated, like the desert but it is large enough to sustain its own economic and industrial base.
The Leurc Mountains dominate the landscape to the east of the grasslands and act as a barrier, separately Tnemrot into two different countries, economically, socially, and scientifically. Until the late Middle Ages, these mountains were uncrossed by Tnemration armies due to their harsh weather climates and rough terrain. The Leurc Mountains run from the north of Tnemrot to its south and proceed into both Kampfers and New Tipperany. Peaks can rise to over 6,100 meters (20,000 feet) and the highest peak sits at 9,215 meters (30,233 feet). These mountains are lashed by various climate zones, with tundra like climates towards the higher elevations and temperate climates towards the base.
East of the mountains is the largest zone, the Forest of Niap. The elevation throughout this entire zone is erratic and slopes downward and becomes less erratic as the coast gets closer. The forest has an average elevation of 487 meters (1,598 feet) and near the base of the mountains, this elevation can reach as high as 1,650 meters (5,413 feet). Due to the erratic terrain in the forest, there are parts that experience vertical drops in excess of 200 meters (656 feet) and the Worros and Etah rivers both have various waterfalls and rapids in this region. The forest is very thick in most areas but thin in others due to human presence. Because most of the land is protected, it has some of the largest trees around, many stretching up as high as 125 meters (410 feet). Areas can differ from being very rocky to being abundant with fresh soil. ARound the cities and towns in the Forest of Niap, the land is more flat than hilly and vegetation is thinner than elsewhere. The Forest of Niap is not considered a rainforest but it experiences very rainy springs, high humidity and unpredictable weather during the summers, pleasant and rainy autumns, and very harsh, icy, snowy, and cold winters. The Forest of Niap is frequently hit by large storms during both the winter and summer months that can unleash heavy winds, high amounts of precipitation, and linger for days on end before dissipating. Both the Etah and Worros rivers snake through the Forest of Niap but only the latter extends to the mountains.
The coastal region of Tnemrot is very unique as well. In the northern and southern corners of the coast, the terrain is low-lying with sandy beaches and deepwater ports that remain ice-free year round. However, midway south of the state of Nox and north of the state of Hure, the terrain climbs steeply to form steep, high, rock walls that average some 35 meters (115 feet). In some portions, these rock walls are separately from the waterline by sandy beaches but these are intermittent and most of the coast is inhospitable. It is in these two areas that both the Etah and Worros rivers begin, the former in the south and the latter in the north. Along the northeastern portion of the coast, Tnemrot experiences a humid continental climate. Summers are very hot and winters are very cold with temperatures approaching and exceeding 33°C (91°F) in the summer and averaging -10°C (14°F) in the winter. The average summer temperature is 28°C (82°F) and there is a significant amount of rainfall experienced in both the spring and fall with heavy snowfall amounts in the winter. Summers are usually dry although this is not predictable as some summers have been significantly wetter than previous ones. Along the southern portions of the coast there is a Mediterranean climate zone. The climate is characterized by hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters.
The various islands around Tnemrot are characterized by Mediterranean ad Oceanic climates, the latter being in the northern and middle areas. Oceanic climates are characterized by a narrower annual range of temperatures than are encountered in other places at a comparable latitude, and do not have the extremely dry summers of Mediterranean climates. Summers are also generally much cooler than in areas with a humid subtropical climate. Average temperature of warmest month must be less than 22°C (72°F), and that of the coldest month warmer than -3°C (27°F).
Government & Politics
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is a theocratic republic. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is ruled by two bodies, one of which is subservient to the other. Aside from these two bodies, the government of Tnemrot has a functional judiciary, legislature, and executive. The executive maintains absolute power above all concordant branches of the government. Within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot, there are seven states, organized into ninety-five counties.
Executive
The executive of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is the Supreme Council of Elders. The Supreme Council of Elders is made up of fifteen of Tnemrot's most important and influential elders who serve on the council until they resign or die. Of the fifteen, one is appointed as the Supreme Overlord, the highest position in Tnemrot's government. Supreme ruler of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot, the Supreme Overlord is elected by a majority vote of thirteen of the remaining fourteen elders. The fourteenth elder, determined by age, does not vote to avoid a tie. The Supreme Council must approve every law proposed by the National Assembly and the Supreme Commander has the final say on all legislation. The Supreme Council guides the National Assembly on certain matters and has the power, by unanimous decision, to dissolve the Chamber of Deputies. The Senate is then charged with the responsibility of reseating the Chamber of Deputies and, except in times of war, the Supreme Council must allow for this to happen. In times of war, the Supreme Council can, also by unanimous decision, dissolve the entire National Assembly but must reinstate it following the return to peace.
Elders on the Supreme Council are appointed to positions following the death or resignation of a sitting Elder only by a majority vote of at least two-thirds or more. Elders must meet certain criteria to be considered for appointment. They must be males, native born to Tnemrot, at least 55 years in age, have previously served as an officer in the nation's military, and not be in violation of any Tnemration laws (i.e. cannot own slaves). The Supreme Council resides in the Castle of Nis, in Milde.
Judiciary
The judiciary of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is the Council of Overseers. This is the highest court in Tnemrot and is responsible for reviewing the most prominent of Tnemration laws. The Council of Overseers can also reject laws passed by the National Assembly if they violate the constitution; although, the Supreme Council can override the Council of Overseers. The Council of Overseers is made up of twenty-four judges, three assigned per state and three to the overall nation. They are appointed by the Supreme Council of Elders for ten year terms and there are no term limits. However, judges rarely serve past two terms. The average age of a judge is fifty-nine and all judges must be experienced, having previously served as a local judge. They must be native born, they must be at least thirty-eight years of age, and they must have a clean record. Judges may be removed from office and can be subjected to Tnemration law should they violate it and corruption is considered a serious crime that carries stiff and severe penalties. Like Elders on the Supreme Council, they cannot be in violation of any Tnemration laws (i.e. cannot own slaves). The Concil of Overseers resides in Anthem.
Legislature
The legislature of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is called the National Assembly. It is a bicameral house that consists of a lower house, named the Chamber of Deputies, and the upper house, named the Senate. There are eight hundred and twenty-five Senators and sixteen hundred and seventy-five Deputies. The Senate is largely responsible for proposing legislation, budgetary matters, and many other daily activities. Senators are elected to six year terms and there are no term limits. The leader of the National Assembly is the leading member of the majority party in the Senate. Deputies are elected to four year terms and there are no term limits. Deputies mainly represent the local concerns of their constituents and are also elected by a popular vote. All legislation is formed in and approved in the Senate before it is passed on to the Supreme Council, which reviews the bills. If they are in accordance with already established writs and laws, then it is approved. If not, it is vetoed by the council. The Supreme Council can and does often write their own bills and writs, which the National Assembly is required to pass. The National Assembly is in the Tnemration Capitol building in Anthem. The structure is built on gothic architecture and is among the largest buildings in Anthem excluding sky scrappers.
Domestic Policies
Domestic policies of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot are vastly different from many countries around the world. Domestic policies focus on the conservative side of the spectrum with a major emphasis on responsibility, morality, conservatism, and religion. Domestic policies are enforced strictly in some cases but leisurely in others, usually along a spectrum of importance. Law is heavily enforced and often not subject to change.
Character & Moral Conduct
With regards to character and moral conduct, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot has significant laws dedicated to these categories. Responsibility is a main factor with laws. Individuals who attempt to sue for their own misuse of products and "stupidity" are denied suit and are forced to pay back the government for the funds expended for the legal process. The influence of moral conduct on cases was significant as well. A heavy emphasis was placed on moral conduct within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot.
Conscription
With regards to conscription, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot lists mandatory military conscription for a duration of four years for every male following their graduation of secondary school. Males with medical disabilities limiting them from combat service are given non-combat duties within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. Failure to serve is met with an eight year prison term without parole and their record reflects this. Being a felon, they lose many rights and freedoms that individuals are given. In times of war, the Supreme Council reserves the right to institute a draft and all males aged 18 to 40 are considered eligible for service and draft. Local militias do exist and often can be as powerful as theater or local military assets but the two do not oppose each other.
Crime & Law
With regards to crime and law, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot maintains it as the focal point of the state, even above defense. Law and order are considered paramount in the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. Violations of law and order are treated as such and punished accordingly. Crimes are classified as common crimes, misdemeanors, felonies, and capital crimes. Common crimes include parking violations, speeding violations, and other petty crimes that are normally dealt with by summonses or warnings. Misdemeanors are "lesser" criminal acts. Misdemeanors are generally punished less severely than felonies; but theoretically more so than common crimes. Misdemeanors are classified in four groups ranging from a class A, which can have up to two years in prison and/or up to ©20,000 in fines to class D, which can have a maximum of thirty days in jail and/or fines up to ©5,000. Those serving prison sentences for misdemeanors are held in minimum or medium security facilities with individuals serving misdemeanors as well. Felonies are categorized in four groups as well, with class A felons serving prison sentences in excess of 35 years, class B felons serving prison sentences between 20 and 35 years, class C felons serving between 10 and 20 years, and class D felons serving between 2 and 10 years. Fines are imposed as well. Individuals convicted of felonies, upon completion of their sentence, are severely limited. They are required to have a tracking device surgically implanted into their body, their civil rights are curtailed to where they cannot vote and neither can they work in some institutions, usually determined by their crimes. Those convicted of sexual assault cannot hold jobs in schools and hospitals. Individuals convicted of robbery cannot work in banks. Then, there are capital crimes, punishable by death. There are five capital crimes: homicide, rape, heresy, severe crimes against children, and treason. Individuals convicted of these crimes are held in maximum security facilities are often kept in their cells for up to 23 hours a day and are severely restricted. These individuals, on average, are imprisoned for a total of 1.5 years before they are executed. With regards to appeals in all cases, all individuals are granted, under the law one appeal. Should that appeal maintain their conviction, they will continue to serve their sentence. In cases where released felons commit crimes again, even misdemeanors, they are immediately returned to jail and imprisoned for life as a class A felon, regardless of the level of the infraction. There is a "two-strike" rule. Ex post facto laws are prohibited. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does not believe in rehabilitation as much as it believes in punishment. Lesser crimes may be met with rehabilitation but it will not reduce their sentences or punishment. Individuals who commit false accusations are charged with one class higher of crime as those that they are accusing and perjury is an automatic class C felony. There is a trial by jury for all misdemeanors. Felony trials are also trial by jury but the judge has far more power over the jury than in misdemeanor trials. Capital crimes are not trial by jury. Intoxication during a crime raises the class of the crime by one degree, for example, drunk driving where an individual is killed will be regarded as a capital crime.
Defense
With regards to defense, defense remains the second most important policy within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. It is a primary obligation of the federal government to provide for the common defense, and to be vigilant regarding potential threats, prospective capabilities, and perceived intentions of potential enemies. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is against Tnemration forces serving under the flag of a foreign country or command and even during war, they remain under Tnemration authority only. The goal of the Tnemration security policy is to defend the national security interests of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. The Supreme Council calls for the maintenance of a strong, state-of-the-art military on land, sea, in the air, and in space. Women are not permitted to serve in the military under any capacity except as that of a civilian under the Ministry of Defense. Militias, not outlawed, are not to take the place of the military.
Diseases
With regards to incurable diseases, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot classifies them in two main categories: contagious and non-contagious. Non-contagious diseases include cancer and other like diseases. Contagious diseases are classified according to their method of transmission. Venereal diseases are considered some of the most immoral and are frowned upon significantly. Such diseases are treated as threats to national security and individuals are forced to relocate to camps and secluded villages where they cannot pass their diseases to the remainder of the public [secret IC]. These areas, though segregated from society are not under standards but seclusion from the outside world is strictly enforced.
Drugs
With regards to illegal drugs, the use, sale, possession, and manufacturing of illegal drugs is considered a felony. Though not explicitly declared as a capital crime, extreme cases of drug trafficking can be met with execution. Drugs are a problem within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot and are being dealt with accordingly. The Food & Drug Administration has the authority to declare whether or not a drug is considered legal. Marijuana, a drug legal in some states, is not legal in the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot for any use, recreational or medicinal. In the Province of Horza, some substances used for medicinal purposes and for use in religious and spiritual ceremonies have been given legality for use only in these prescribed methods and locations.
Education
Education is considered the third most paramount topic in the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot but, because of its distinctly domestic nature, it is proportionally more than defense. Education is considered extremely important within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. There is full support for the unimpeded right of parents to provide for the education of their children in the manner they deem best, including home, private, or religious. Educational material is controlled strictly by the Ministry of Education and it encompasses many aspects. Religious education is taught only in religious schools. Sexual education classes are mandatory in all schools, public or private. Education is not considered secondary by any means and all education is taught in English. Foreign languages are also taught from the very earliest years. A major emphasis is put on Tnemration history and it includes history dating back to before 450 B.C. No history is ignored. Mathematics, science, and practical classes are taught as much as other courses. Following secondary school, while males serve four year conscriptions, females are enrolled in a practical school that teaches home economics, finances, maternity, and other important topics.
Energy
With regards to energy, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot strongly supports clean, cheap, safe, and renewable energy. Because of this, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot has no reliance on petroleum. Vehicles are all powered by ethanol though some older cars use E85, which features 85% ethanol. Power is provided, mostly, through nuclear power. In areas where nuclear power is not deemed to be safe or economical enough, other methods are explored. Wind, solar, and hydro power stations are plentiful and every instance where power can be gained from the environment, without damaging it, is exploited. For instance, where solar radiation is at its highest, solar power is frequently used. In instances were wind is significant, wind stations are constructed. Hydroelectric power uses the natural gravitational force of water to provide power. Other forms of power aside from nuclear power is the use of geothermal power, the burning of garbage, the burning of biomass, and the burning of natural gas. Oil and coal power plants account for well under 1% of the total power generated are only built in places where no other alternatives can be had. Petroleum is used strictly for military applications, jet fuel, shipping, and several other applications. For the most part, petroleum is not used significantly in the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. Substitutes are in constant use. Due to this reliance on renewable energy, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is capable of storing up to 100 billion barrels of oil, enough to supply the military for up to one year, if all petroleum was cut off to the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot.
Environment
It is responsibility of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot to be prudent, productive, and efficient stewards of the Earth's natural resources. This requires a proper and continuing dynamic balance between development and conservation, between use and preservation. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot supports realistic efforts to preserve the environment and reduce pollution - air, water, and land. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot protects in excess of some 1,800,000 km² of land from economic development. Offshore fisheries are protected as well and crimes that damage and destroy the environment are strictly enforced and prosecuted. However, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does distinguish that humans have more rights than trees.
Family
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot places a very strong emphasis on family. Businesses are encouraged to stay closed on Sundays so that individuals may stay home with their families. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot defines marriage as the union between one man and one woman. The marriage covenant is the foundation of the family, and the family is fundamental in the maintenance of a stable, healthy and prosperous social order. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot rejects the notion that sexual offenders are deserving of legal favor or special protection. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot opposes homosexuality and openly prosecute it as a felony. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot values the father and the mother in the home and divorce is largely illegal. Divorces, when allowed, must be proven to be the ultimate and final resort for the couple and must get approval from a high court.
Foreign Policy
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is properly a free and sovereign state which should strive to live in peace with all nations, without interfering in their internal affairs, and without permitting their interference in the domestic affairs of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot has entered into numerous trade alliances. Non-aggression pacts are ignored as they traditionally lack any binding power whatsoever. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot strongly opposes international organizations that violate the sovereignty of states. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot opposes signing any international laws and remains a semi-isolated nation, only getting involved with conflicts abroad that directly threaten the national security of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. It does not view itself as a worldwide "police force" and makes no attempts to dictate the domestic affairs of foreign nations.
Gambling
Gambling is legal above the age of 18 but debts incurred by gambling cannot be used as an excuse for problems in life. Gambling may be treated as an addiction elsewhere but each and every person has the capacity to overcome addictions if they are responsible enough.
Gun Control
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot makes no attempt to ban the right of its citizens to own firearms. However, it does place some limitations on them that serve to benefit the populace as a whole. Automatic weapons, whether they fire in burst or fully automatic modes, are available through special permit only. Explosives such as, but not limited to, grenades, rocket launchers, and plastic explosives are banned. Suppressors are legal but require a special permit. Hand guns may be owned by any citizen who has not committed a felony in their life as long as they are over the age of 18. Rifles may be owned by citizens over the age of 16 in low calibers (under .31 caliber) and over the age of 18 in high calibers. Shotguns may be owned by citizens over the age of 16. Sawed-off shotguns are illegal. Machine guns, even in semi-automatic form are banned except with special permit, normally only granted to legal militia groups. No citizen may be denied the right to possess and own a firearm within these limitations if they are over the minimum legal age, they have qualified in a course that teaches safety and proper use of firearms, and they have never been convicted of a felony.
Healthcare
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot determines that healthcare is a basic necessity to life. Rightfully so, healthcare is universal to all individuals. In order to obtain healthcare though, the individual must be employed. Individuals who are not employed and lack viable excuses are removed from the healthcare system. Individuals with limitations that are acceptable under law and the Ministry of Commerce do not have their health coverage terminated if they cannot continue to work.
Immigration
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot strongly affirms its borders. Immigration is restricted according to certain classifications. In order to travel to the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot you must apply for a visa in advance and go through a short background check and interview. If you fail you won't be allowed the visa. Each tier of immigration faces less and less restrictions to obtain a travel visa. Temporary immigration is considered travel visas. In so far as temporary residence visas and student visas are concerned, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot puts a national cap of 150,000 temporary residents and 500,000 students each year. Naturalization requires residency in the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot for a minimum of 10 years, good moral character, completion of several interviews, and completion of several exams. Illegal immigrants are immediately deported. Illegal immigrants who repeatedly enter the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot can be imprisoned. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot reserves the right to execute illegal immigrants attempting to subvert the borders of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. Individuals with temporary visas who commit crimes can be imprisoned or deported.
Personal and Private Property Security
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot affirms the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot also reaffirms that the government must be strictly limited in their powers to intrude upon the persons and private property of individual citizens, in particular, that no place be searched and no thing be seized, except upon proof of probable cause that a crime has been committed and the proper judicial warrant issued. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot opposes legislation and administrative action utilizing asset forfeiture laws which enable the confiscation of the private property of persons not involved in the crime. Forfeiture of assets can only be enforced after conviction of the property owner as a penalty for the crime. Such forfeitures must follow full due process of law under criminal prosecution standards.
Pornography
Unlike many states in the world, pornography is highly restricted in the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. It is considered immoral and improper and is not regarded as a category of film but it exists and it is highly regulated by the federal government.
Religion
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot is a theocratic state. Its one and only official religion is the Pagan Rite although in the provinces of Horza and Hure, which have self-rule, the Pagan Rite is not the official religion. In Horza, indigenous religions are dominant and, in Hure, it is Catholicism that dominates.
Sanctity of Life
With regards to the "sanctity of life," the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot takes an unusual and non-traditional outlook. Abortion is illegal except in cases of rape, death to the mother or child, or if the child is determined to be born mentally retarded. In the first instance, the state pays for the abortion, should the victim choose to have one, and the criminal must repay the state with what assets they have remaining. Debts add to prison sentences. In instances where the mother or child may die, the ultimate question of whether or not to go through the abortion is ultimately left with the mother and father. More then three professional, medical opinions must be given in order to have the abortion approved. In instances where the child will be born mentally retarded, the same scenario applies where the decision is ultimately left with the mother and father and three professional, medical opinions must be given. In regards to suicide, there is no law against suicide but failed attempts can be often be met with state enforced institutionalization. Euthanasia is legal as well but only for cases of terminal illness, where three professional, medical opinions are given, consent from the individual or from those with power of attorney is given, and the disease is determined to be completely incurable, by any methods in existence.
Tariffs and Trade
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot opposes all international trade agreements which have the effect of diminishing Tnemrot's economic self-sufficiency and of exporting jobs, the loss of which impoverishes Tnemration families, undermines Tnemration communities, and diminishes Tnemrot's capacity for economic self-reliance, and the provision of national defense. Outsourcing is not an acceptable practice within the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot believes in Free Trade Agreements but does not allow them to weaken the national security and integrity of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. Tariffs imposed are not imposed to dissuade foreign investment but are also in effect to encourage buying domestic goods over foreign goods.
Taxes
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does not believe in heavy taxation. The lack of social welfare programs mean that more funding can be utilized where it is needed, which allows tax rates to be kept low. There is a 20% flat tax on all income and tax evasion is considered a felony crime. Taxation of inheritance, gifts, and prizes is not in effect. Sales tax is determined by the standard of living in certain areas and it is what provides the most funding to states. Sales tax is not imposed on food or clothing products, determined to be necessities of life. Property taxes exist as well but directly fund community programs.
Veterans
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot has a strong sense of feeling towards its veterans. Veterans are to be treated with respect and instances of "spitting on soldiers" is not considered acceptable.
Wage and Price Control
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot believes strongly that workers are the backbone of the country. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot stands up for workers' rights and does not view workers as assets or resources. Minimum wage laws are in effect and the minimum wage is determined by the standard of living indexes. The federal minimum wage is ©8.25 per hour. No area may impose a minimum wage lower than this and the average minimum wage is ©8.68 per hour.
Welfare
The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does not believe in social welfare. Individuals without jobs are often considered to be "outcasts" of society and are strongly encouraged to seek employment as the government will not pay for them. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does not discourage charitable donations.
Foreign Relations
Throughout the history of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot, foreign relations have been at the pinnacle of Tnemration thinking and reasoning. In the earliest days of the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot, Tnemration armies conquering in excess of 12,000,000 km² at its height. Such countries as the Empire of Layarteb and the Free Realm of Dnalkrad were once under Tnemration control. However, following the end of the Dark Ages in 1000 A.D., Tnemration territory has since been reduced to what it is today. Since the onset of the Tnemration Renaissance, Tnemration thinking and reasoning has turned more inward and currently foreign relations is second to domestic policies. Though it is second, foreign relations remains an important category for the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does not consider itself an isolationist state but rather a non-interventionist state. As such, the Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot does not consider it necessary nor moral to interfere in the sovereignty of any foreign nation. The Forsaken Realm of Tnemrot also considers any country's attempt to interfere with the sovereignty of Tnemrot to be in direction violation of Tnemration doctrine.
Foreign relations are categorized into five categories and they are, from lowest to highest: Belligerent, Unfavorable, Neutral, Favorable, Allied.
