Logo Discussion

So, thoughts on the logos that have been submitted on the old wiki? I'm kinda partial to Zinaire's first one myself. Kurt Weber (Go Colts!) 16:03, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Logos are not supposed to be composed of too many colors: it distracts and confuses. The very best logos are one, two, at most maybe three colors (not counting hues, tints, etc.). Blast 22:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Its no issue to me, but as I stated before; if you keep the current one you need to improve the color balance and brightness. Its currently nearly 40-60% black, and thats viewing it on an LCD, god forbid how dark it would be on most CRTs. Id also work on adjusting the weight of the 'W' in terms of width, for normal typing its one thing to use fixed font dimensions but on a balanced logo its another, right now it feels very much so distorted to one side.--Amastol 15:37, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey, Munchy here. I cranked my CRT all the way down to sRGB, 50% contrast, and 50% brightness. Amastol's logo is great both there and with me at max EYE RAPING 9300K COLOR AND 100% EVERYTHING. Signed, No_Endorse

I don't know if this discussion is still open, but it doesn't look like we can see the logo on any skin other than the default. Any way to fix this, do you think? --South Thasland 01:19, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Not sure about that, but I know that non-default skins can fuck with the formatting of some articles, so I'd recommend sticking with it. --Kampf 05:17, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
