RosTrains, known as ROSTRAINZ by Birkanians after a failed viral marketing campaign, is a high-speed passenger rail service connecting NordicRostil with Central and Easter Rostil. Trains operating between Eslovakia and Birkiane all cross using the 3500km long tunnel from Nordea International Station to Aleksei Girenko International Station.

The Eslovakian terminal is Ekaterinberg Central, with calling points at Akalla International and Nordea International. With the main Prostok terminus at Aleksei Girenko International and Javoronok. Trains to Willman terminate at Bloemsfontein and Kikwit Station. Trains bounding for eastern Rostil terminate at Fujeirah terminus in Hudaydah and Washington in Star Trek America. The service is operated by three different types of trains which run at up to 300 kilometres per hour (186 mph) on a network of high-speed lines. The trains consist of ICE 3, TGV POS and BR Class 373.

Ceres Tunnel

Starting at Eslovakia and possessing three main stations on the country, the railway system continues through the Sea of Ceres using a massive tunnel, the longest in the region. The construction of the collosal tunnel was started after the government of Belkaland refused to allow the line to be built through Belkan territory as it was not compatible with the X-rail maglev system that already connected Belkaland and Birkaine. After heated discussions and blocked out of Belkaland, the executives of the railway company instead decided to go for what has to be the largest private investment in transport infrastructure in Rostilian history, the multi-year construction of the 3.5km-long tunnel, commonly called the Ceres Tunnel by Birkanian contractors, entirely funded by the Eslovakians. It is somewhat thought by Birkanians that the tunnel's location is meant as an insult towards Belkaland (given that the Sea of Ceres is a sacred place for Belkans) for refusing to let them build their line trough their nation and forcing them into the massive investment.

The tunnel implements four passenger lines in addition to maintenance and evacuation routes, two of them being of RosTrains proper and the other two being used for Birkaine's Strelka high-speed maglev line, opening a large quantity of markets for said railway line. The Strelka trains are normally used for travel between Eslovakia and Belkaland. The Ceres Tunnel holds the title of the longest tunnel in Rostil.

The construction of the tunnel posed previously-unseen engineering problems given the sheer depth and length of the tunnel, even despite the fact that the rock the tunnel was bored trough was determined to be high-quality by engineers and geologists. Specialized tunnel boring machinery had to be built by Eslovakian and Birkanian companies alongside new high-density reinforced concrete mixtures to hold the walls of the tunnel. Much like previous excessively large construction projects (such as the building of hundreds of ships for Hypersphere) Birkaine welcomed the opportunity to decrease its unemployment rates with open arms; and prison labour was used in some non-critical areas of the project.

Birkanian line

The tunnel hits the shore some distance away from its first station on the Sotian continent, the Aleksei Girenko International, where it has to cross the coastal industrial city of Ferrograd. As Ferrograd has an enormous tunnel network of its own in the form of high-depth mines and the massive metro system that would have their structural integrity menaced by having the large RosTrains tunnel cross the ground beside them, this portion of the railway is above-ground, passing trough the enormous refineries, shipyards and production plants of Ferrograd in what is known to be the most visually unappealing part of the entire line, before getting to the capital of Birkaine, Prostok.

The RosTrains line connects with a myriad of other railways in the Girenko Station, including the Belkan X-rail that got the line built there in the first place. The Girenko station was largely rebuilt for welcoming the influx of passengers coming trough RosTrains and Strelka; the number of restaurants and shops triplicated and other entertainment sites were built into the station, such as a movie theater and several touristical facilities in an attempt to clean the image of Birkaine that Ferrograd gave the passengers.

From the Girenko station the line bifurcates eastwards and southwards. On the eastern line the the train passes trough the cities of Monazvan and Onzhivet with many minor stations in between, crossing relatively featureless agricultural plains at first and then going on a more jagged path trough a scenic mountain railway that crosses the Vladimir Mountains that separate Eastern and Western Birkaine while finally getting to the major city of Javoronok; the Birkanian hub for Rostrains. The southern line also arrives to Javoronok albeit trough a different path. Instead of crossing the Vladimir Mountains, the line goes south in a safer but longer path parallel to other Birkanian lines that takes it to the city of Ciningrad at first, known to be one of the two major centres for Birkaine's entertainment industry and being rather glamorous of its own, in contrast to the next station located in the bleak and grey city-fortress of Vojnagrad, known to be the least used station due to the city being unpopular amongst tourists (and tourists being unpopular amongst Vojnagradians). After going trough the cosmopolitan city of Drobilika, the southern line finally arrives to Javoronok.

The two lines join in Javoronok only to split again into southern and eastern lines once more. This time the southern line takes the train to the area of Molonossk and then finally out of Birkaine into Willman. The eastern line leaves the country trough the eastern area of Voskov, known for its touristical beaches and for not being as contaminated as the rest of Birkaine, and into Star Trek America through a shorter tunnel.
