The 5th Oxen Cup took place after World Cup 38, with 16 nations competing. A double-group round robin, followed by two separate knockout tourneys. The top two teams of each group advanced to the 1st thru 8th place toureny, while the bottom two teams were in the Repecharge bracket to determine 9th thru 16th place. This was the first Oxen cup to have over1 million and 2 million in attendence, though that is most likely due to the high number of matches.
Teams in Green adavnced to the Winner's bracket tourney, teams in white to the Repecharge tourney.
