Etymology
The bizarre etyomlogy comes from contact with neo-persian tribes on the continent of F following The Versteeg-Juneau Event. Generally interpreted as "Place of the Iz" (Iz being the shamanistic gods of that local tribe). Unfortunatly soon afterwards the entire tribe was wiped out by a combination of disease and violence by the throughly confused Izistani.
Essentially the name in English is, "Place of the Gods/Spirits". Despite the unusual nature of the name, Izistan came to refer to the nation of displaced people now trying to surrive in a hostile environment. Mostly because they didn't know wtf lol.
