The Indochina Union, officially the Democratic Peoples Indochina Union, is a country formed on 8 October 2002 when Vietnam annexed the neighboring countries of Cambodia, Laos and Northern Thailand and announced a Federal socialist state union on 11 October under the name of the Democratic Peoples Indochina Union. Ngo Minh Triet assumed the Presidency of Vietnam in 2001. Upon creating the Indochina Union, he created the position of Supreme President of the Indochina Union, a position he has declared he will remain in for life. The Constitution of the Indochina Union was created the same year, which created the Peoples National Assembly as a legislature function of the government and the Chief Supreme Minister of the Indochina Union to serve as a head of government, who is appointed by the Supreme President every 4 years.

The Indochina Union has been at war with ORNA forces since July 21st, 2005 in the Indochina War which began in response to the deaths of innocent civilians, ambassadors and numerous other diplomatic and humanitarian incidents. The Indochina Union has no effective government to most of the south, which is governed by the Garmidia-led ORNA forces.
