The Federal Republic of Franberry, commonly known as just Franberry is a nation located in Southern Haven. It is bordered by two states, Midlauthia and Salkehachie, both to the east, with whom it shares its landmass. Its vast territory boasts a temperate seasonal climate, although with considerable variation within this range.

Franberry arose as a modern nation around the turn of the 16th century, after the Battle of Pantero. Franberry opened itself to trade and established the colony of Rio Negro soon after. However, these new opportunities led to more in-fighting within Franberry itself and the country has had a long history of internal instability since.

Now, Franberry is growing and re-organizing herself, asserting more influence on the international stage. Her economy and her standard of living have improved greatly, although still leaving much ground to cover between it and first-world countries. Franberry is the regional power in Southern Haven, not through its own merits but rather through a lack of credible opponents, it is a member of the Kingston Pact and of the Association of Agrarian States.
