The Fyrkanter Central Bombings occurred on 2 February, 2010 and was the first attack conducted by the Media Enhancement Group. The terrorist group split into 3 groups and stormed the library from three angles simultaneously evacuating most people and staff in the building. Some people who attempted to call the police or escape from the back of the building were fired upon causing casualties and injuries. The Media Enhancement Group installed explosives in over 9 places in the building before detonating it and making a quick getaway using armoured vans with symbols of the Eslovakian Police Force on the sides. Some members of the terror group were apprehended when Eslovakian SWAT teams arrived at the scene.
It is reported that 12 people had been killed and 49 injured during the Media Enhancements Group's storming of the library. The Eslovakian police were the first on the scene before calling for S.W.A.T back-up after machine gun fire had been fired on the police and were unable to assist the escaping librarians.
The damage made by the group made it impossible to repair the building resulting in having to completely demolish the remains of the building and rebuild it.
Attacks
At 3:00PM 3 armoured police vans parked outside each of the library's exits. 5 terrorists armed with M16 Assault Rifles armoured with Kevlar body armour similar to Special Operations Teams jumped out the vans and immediately began to storm the building in teams of three. One team began evacuating civilians and library staff to a designated fire point. Any persons found attempting to escape the library from any other exit were fired upon resulting in casualties of 12 and injuries of 49 people. Many civilians had their mobile phones taken but passers by who took notice of the scene called the police. 5 minutes later 4 police cars arrive at the scene and are confronted by a spray of machine gun fire. Back up is called and Eslovakian S.W.A.T teams are immediately scrambled to the scene. By then the Media Enhancement Group had successfully placed the bombs in nine different weak-points of the buildings structure.
The Media Enhancement Group began to evacuate the building and get back to their vehicles to escape. Some of the terrorist were fired upon when the first S.W.A.T team arrived in a UH-60 Blackhawk. 3 terrorist were injured and didn't make it to the escaping vehicles. 2 of the terrorist had been rushed to the hospital and the other died moments after being shoot.
Eye witnesses claimed that the armoured vans had the Eslovakian Police logo on the sides of each vehicle.
Aftermath
The Media Administration of Eslovakia had made a prediction that the Media Enhancement Group would launch more attacks on libraries and media centres across the country. In response to these threats, the Media Administration announced to establish the Eslovakian Library Corps to protect individual libraries across the countries with an armed response.

Meetings are reportedly taking place to discuss actions to be taken. A diplomatic mission is also being prepared for travel to Eslovakia.
A statement was also released by a spokesman for the Nidian High Command

The Military Federation gives its condolences to all the families who have lost loved ones in the attack and it vows to assist the Eslovakian government in brining them to justice.
Shortly following the bombing, alert levels at all three of the Nidian bases in Eslovkaia rose from normal to severe. As of the 12th February the alert levels still remain set at severe.
