Bluth Corporation sent its football team to World Bowl VII, after sitting out World Bowl VI due to financial and organizational difficulties. The team finished fourth in Group F, missing the World Bowl playoffs for the first time in the four times it had entered to date. A pair of surprise losses to tournament newcomer Sibirsky, as well as the team's inability to mount even a single upset over Arroza and Sarzonia, contributed to the team's relatively poor showing.

The national team entered the tournament ranked 12th in the Elo Rankings (1520), 19th in the AMS rankings (3.5), and rated third in Group F. After the tournament ended, the team was in a three-way tie for 14th in the Elo Rankings (1509) and 20th in the AMS rankings (5.25).
