The Birkainian Channel Tunnel, or more commonly called the Wehr-Fyrkanter Chunnel, is a joint venture between the Grand Principality of Belkaland and The Federal Republic of Eslovakia to connect the Nordic Isles to the mainland of Lisrupa. When the chunnel was finally completed, the Wehr-Fyrkanter Chunnel allowed for an inexpensive route for trade and rapid transit. It is also the first tunnel to utilize the X-Rail system developed by the Belkan start-up company X-Rail Lines. With the chunnel completed, it is planned for the X-rail lines to be connected to a large X-rail network proposed by X-Rail Lines and supported by various other companies in Belkaland, Eslovakia, & Birkaine.
