Bazalonia, is a large and proud nation with a wealth of cultural and economic treasures. From the proud democratic history of the nation, to the nations compassion, the nation is truly one of a kind.

History
The History of Bazalonia is abit uncertain, there are no records that are known to exist about the area Bazalonia came to exist. There are many rumours and theories but no evidence to confirm or deny. What is known however is that the nation started in the Zurich region and oversaw the region adopt a single currency, the Zuro. The military saw it's first major engangement against alien 'bugs' which managed after a long compaign to repel the invaders.
Soon the nation decided it needed a new start and moved to a new Region Atlantian Oceania. The nation seemed to fit well participating in a number of regional sporting events and soon the nation rose to the status of Regional Delegate.
After a long time in that post (RL 1 year) The delegate stepped down, however due to the fact that no one steped up to take the position Bazalonia remained the Regional Delegate in name only.
Politics
Bazalonia prizes it self with at least Cordial relations with all nations, even with it's enemies. Within regional politics Bazalonia is a member of the Strategic Defense League, a power bloc in opposition with the Strategic Alliance of Autocratic States an associated group[ of tyrants of varying degrees.
The nations politics are dominated by 2 major parties but there are numerous smaller parties, some of which hold the sway of power in the Senate. The Upper House of the nations Bicarmel parliament.

Laws
The nation has stringent Drug laws and pharacuetical drug control, apart from common sense laws that keep society well-oiled. There are not much, but the nation has a strong police force, you'd be lucky to get away with most crimes.

Most crimes are handled at the state level, in accordance with the various state laws; infact, unless there is a specific federal crime all other crimes are handled by the State police sometimes including co-operation between various state police forces.

Culture
Bazalonia has a strong arts, film, music and gaming scenes. The output of the nation is quite free flowing. The Office of Film and Literature Classification is responsible for providing classification for TV, movies and games and regulating the relatively miniscule porn industry.
The perhaps single piece of culture that identifies the nation is the Bazalope a very weird looking herd animal that in many ways is similiar to cattle and provides a lean meat, favoured by locals and transformed into the very successful Bazaburger fast food restraunt.
