The Sixth edition of the Baptism of Iron was a preliminary tournament held to give teams new to international football experience before World Bowl XI. The 12 teams were drawn into 2 groups of 6 teams, with the top three teams from each group advancing to the playoffs. This Baptism of Iron could be the final one, based upon discussion to eliminate this tourney.
