The '27th Baptism of Fire was held in Starblaydia as the first part of the World Cup 40 'Uber-bid'. It was won by Newmanistan, who defeated Kose and The Turkomans in the Final.
Team of the Tournament
Before the Final an all-star team made up of players from the competing nations in the tournament was selected by a team of international experts. These were: Simeone Di Bradini (Starblaydi goalscoring legend), Khim Azanulbizarn (Starblaydi World Cup-winning manager and now Minister for Sport), Betanii Marrones (then the Starblaydi Manager) and Gabriel Kennedy - Krytenian goalscoring legend.
